On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the combined radar office between 36½ and 41 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward and to starboard from 40 station showing two fire extinguishers and an automatic emergency lantern in the right foreground. A large three door cabinet is against the starboard bulkhead, the single door is marked 115 volts and the pair of doors is marked 440 volts. A visual display unit is on the deck with two rectangular units beyond it. A vertical format negative.
