On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Berwick (1959) alongside the south wall in No.3 basin at Chatham Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 4 December 1967 and completed 4 June 1971. The photographer is in the main passageway (known as the Burma Road) between 30⅔ and 41 stations on 2 deck looking aft and to port from 31½ station showing the door to the weapons and electrical office, a covered cable stowage bracket, a transformer, fuse boxes, starter panels, the door to the amplifier compartment and the door to the officers' W.Cs. The watertight door at 41 station is open. A vertical format negative.
