Sealion (1959). On top of the bridge fin between 59½ and 76 stations.

A roll film negative. On board the submarine Sealion (1959) towards the end of a long refit at Portsmouth. The boat is alongside a stone jetty and the photographer is on top of the bridge fin between 59½ and 76 stations looking aft and down from the navigating bridge top. In the foreground are the hinged panels for the port and starboard lookouts with the retracted steaming lights mast between them. On the right is the portable sea ensign staff. The head of the radar periscope is covered by a canvas bag and beyond it are the air/sea guard mast and the Ademar mast. The snort induction mast is raised. A vertical format negative.
