A roll film negative. On board the submarine Sealion (1959) towards the end of a long refit at Portsmouth. The photographer is in the control room between 59 and 69 stations on the main flat looking forward, to port and up from 62½ station showing a sonar type 2004 recorder with a broadcast and intercom control box above it and a pump and flood orders indicator box to the right. Four 'O' tank gauges are on a transverse frame under the deckhead. The helmsman's console is against the forward bulkhead at 58½ station.
