General Kyd [E.I]
According to a descendant of Alexander Nairne (1785-1866), who captained the 'General Kyd', the initials 'JD' at the lower left corner of the drawing may refer to Captain Nairne's brother-in-law, John Domett (1806-1882), who served under him. In 1830-31 Alexander Nairne is listed for the 'General Kyd', as Comander and John Domett as Second Officer
