The Cutty Sark commemorative bowl

Large commemorative bowl with wooden stand. Black and white transfer of Cutty Sark at well of bowl. 22 carat gold raised gilded rim, inside edge with "The Cutty Sark" on top edge in a banner and 22nd November on the bottom edge in a banner, followed round in a circular pattern of three gold diamond shapes inspired by the design of the nameboard on the ship. Outside body of bowl is in celadon blue. Pattern of three gold diamond shapes, sandwiched by two gold lines on outside foot of bowl. Gold lettering underneath in an uncial and gothic hand: "The Cutty Sark Bowl 1869-1969 By order of the Cutty Sark Society this plate has been produced to commemorate the centenary of the launching of the Cutty Sark at the Old Woodyard, Dumbarton on 22nd November, 1869. In the limited edition of 100 this is number 46. Spode, BONE CHINA ENGLAND
