A slightly distant starboard bow view of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Empress of Australia (1914) at anchor in an unknown location. Both anchors are deployed and she is dressed overall. Passenger and cargo ships of various types are berthed alongside the quays in the background and a steamer near the stern of the Empress is emitting a tall column of steam. Large and impressive buildings are on higher ground above the quays. Negative number P83678 was taken on the same occasion.
