A very distant port side view of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Empress of Australia (1914) at anchor in Isfjorden at Andalsnes, Norway.
A very distant port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Empress of Australia (1914) at anchor in Isfjorden at Andalsnes, Norway. The photographer ison high ground above the railway yards at Andalsnes looking through a gap in the trees to the ship which is emitting smoke from her foefunnel. She has an accommodation ladder rigged amidships and there are small boats alongside. A caption on the negative says the ship is at Naes and this is the name frequently given to Andalsnes in tourist guides and is used in Baedecker's Guide to Norway and Sweden.
