A slightly distant starboard bow view, taken from wide off the bow, of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Empress of Australia (1914) at anchor in Nordfjorden off Loen, Norway. Her starboard anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged at her shell doors amidships. Lifeboat 21 has been launched and lifeboat 19 has been swung out. There are snow patches on the mountains in the background. The negative is very slightly out of focus. Negative number P83693 is a similar view but taken on a different occasion.
