The gentleman is standing on the port side of the bridge wing and is wearing the full uniform and cap of a Captain or Staff Captain. He has a line of three medal ribbons on the left side of his jacket and another ribbon on the right side. He is holding a large cigar in his left hand. The man's identity and the date are not known. A portrait format negative. The photographer is looking forward and slightly to port. Negative number P83695 is another portrait of the same man taken on the same occasion.
