A distant starboard bow view of the Canadian Pacific Steamships cruise ship Empress of Australia (1914) at anchor in a Norwegian fjord. Her port anchor is deployed and she has an accommodation ladder rigged from her shell doors amidships. Number 21 lifeboat has been launched and she may be the boat that is alongside the accommodation ladder. The ship is emitting volumes of smoke from her fore and 2nd funnels. The negative is slightly out of focus.
