Merchant Navy summer uniform belonging to Edward Miller, trainee officer born on 9 June 1922, died at sea on 28 Nov 1940 when the ship he was apprenticed to, the SS Aracataca, was sunk by a German U-boat while transporting bananas from Jamaica.
