The photographer is looking aft and to starboard from 21 station on the port side of 1 deck showing the breakwater, the forward Mark V 4.5 inch gun mounting, the face of the superstructure, the MRS 3 director the radar mast and the mainmast. The ship's badge is mounted above the enclosed bridge. The top of the mainmast is out of the picture.
