The photographer is in the junior rates dining hall between 50 and 56 stations on 2 deck looking aft and to port from near the centreline at 50 station showing tables and bench seats set athwartships. Glazed front bookcases and a framed print of a painting of trees, water and hills are against the ship's side on the left. Fuse panels, a connection box, a Verikold water dispenser and a Nu-Swift fire extinguisher are against the aft bulkheads.
