A distant starboard broadside view of the Canadian passenger/cargo liner Lady Nelson (1928) anchored off Bridgetown, Barbados.
A distant starboard broadside view of the Canadian passenger/cargo liner Lady Nelson (1928) anchored off Bridgetown, Barbados. Her starboard anchor is deployed, she has awnings rigged over her forecastle and poop and an accommodation ladder is rigged at the aft well deck. An unidentified general cargo ship lies at anchor on the left. She appears to have a name of six letters but they are not quite legible. In the background the Barbados parliament building clock tower is to the left of centre and a factory at the waterfront has Central Foundry Engineering Works on it.
