The photographer is in the officers' cooks and stewards mess between 46¼ and 48 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking aft and to port showing two kit lockers numbered 77 and 78, a suitcase locker and a clock reading 11.24 against the aft bulkhead. Locker 77 belongs to P.O. cook J.A. Wallis and locker 78 belongs to P.O. cook J.V. D'Nazareth. A folding table and two chairs are in the centre. A two tier bunk settee, a mess rack and a chair are against the ship's side.
