The operations in the Dardanelles (1915-16), principally from the military side, but includes views of Mudros harbour, the beaches and the following vessels, warships - Implacable, Queen Elizabeth, Lord Nelson, Roberts Abercrombie, Euryalus, Canopus, Rescue, Albion, Kennet, Swiftsure, Adamant, Triad, X30, X193, E2, E11, E14 dummy Invincible (SS Patrician) Trawlers - Star of the Empire (1912) Ladysmith (1906) G.M. (1910) Frascati (1914) Faulois (1896) TB357 (1907) Askold (1900) Mercantile - Aquatania (1914) Mauretania (1907) River Clyde (1905) and Brinkburn (1909).
Also has photographs of the men in trenches, guarding prisoners, collecting fish from the sea as a result of a Turkish shell, General Sir Ian Hamilton awarding medels to French Officers, and portrait images of some of the General Staff.
