On board the type 81 general purpose frigate HMS Nubian (1960) alongside South Railway Jetty in Portsmouth Dockyard prior to commissioning on 9 October 1962. The photographer is on the centreline of 02 deck at 43 station looking aft and up showing the top of the MRS 3 director fitted with a Type 903 radar dish, the lattice support for the type 293 radar cheese aerial and the mainmast with the AKE1 bedstead aerial for the type 965 radar at its top.
