Scene below decks showing man having leg amputated
One of a set of four mounted together. This rough sketch shows conditions in the cockpit of a naval vessel during battle. Wounded men are helped into the area and lie injured across the deck. On a table in the centre two sailors restrain a third who is having his leg amputated, without the benefit of anaesthetic.
