The Royal Fleet Auxiliary oiler Wave Premier (1946) refuelling the aircraft carrier Glory (1944) and the destroyer Bataan (1944) in the Yellow Sea
A port bow view, taken from fine off the bow, of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary oiler Wave Premier (1946) with the aircraft carrier Glory (1943) to port and the Australian destroyer Bataan (1944) to starboard, carrying out a replenishment at sea serial in the Yellow Sea during the Korean War. The oiler has a black hull, grey upperworks, paravane arms, 40 mm bofors in the bow gun tub and two gantries, one forward and one amidships. A copy negative of a Crown copyright photographic print.
