Braakel off Porto Leona
Original drawing of Braakel (Dutch until 1796, later British, named Brakel), starboard-quarter. Ship is tilting on its port side, as if in stormy waters. Drawing is quite faint, and in a loose, sketchy style.
Remarks: In 1795 orders were issued for the seizure of all Dutch ships in British Ports. Brakel continued in the Navy until 1814, when she was sold.
