Looking forward and to starboard from the starboard side of the aft gun deck on board the Royal Canadian Navy destroyer Micmac (1943) showing the Royal Fleet Auxiliary replenishment ship Olna (1944) steaming close alongside during a replenishment at sea. The refuelling hose across to the Micmac (1943) is suspended from the forward gantry of the Olna (1944). The ships were participating in the NATO exercise Sharp Squall Six in the North Atlantic.
