The coastal minesweeper support ship Manxman (1940) berthed alongside in Chatham Dockyard.

A close starboard side view of the midships of the Royal Navy coastal minesweeper support ship Manxman (1940) alongside the basin wall in Chatham Dockyard at the end of her conversion from a fast minelayer. The photographer is on the roadway looking forward and to port showing the bridge, both masts and the three funnels. Her pendant number is N70. Her bow and stern are out of the picture and most of the hull is obscured by mooring buoys and a Renault Dauphine motor car WCO 966 on the quayside.
