The coastal minesweeper support ship Manxman (1940) berthed alongside in Chatham Dockyard.

A starboard side view of the Royal Navy coastal minesweeper support ship Manxman (1940) alongside the basin wall in Chatham Dockyard at the end of her conversion from a fast minelayer. The photographer is on the roadway abreast the aft deckhouse looking forward and to port. Her pendant number is N70. The top of her mainmast and everything aft of the aft twin 40mm bofors gun are out of the picture. A Bar class boom defence vessel is berthed ahead of the Manxman (1940).
