Looking aft from the bow on board a Royal Navy Tribal class Type 81 general purpose frigate. The photographer is just to starboard of the centreline looking aft showing the forward 4.5 inch gun mount partly covered with a canvas and with both sets of rocket rails fully enclosed in canvas. The single AKE.1 radar aerial at the masthead is trained to port. The name of the vessel, the location and the date are unknown but it is probably in Persian Gulf or Caribbean waters. A vertical format negative.
