On board the Royal Navy Type 15 frigate Ursa (1943) of the 8th Frigate Squadron (West Indies), looking aft from station 64 on the port side of 1 deck showing a ready use 4 inch ammunition locker and ventilators in the foreground and on the roof of the port limbo mortar projectile room are two saluting guns. Astern of the Ursa (1943) is the type 41 frigate Lynx (1955) of the 7th Frigate Squadron (South Atlantic). The ships are on an exercise involving both the 7th and 8th Frigate Squadrons in the waters off Barbados.
