A slightly distant starboard bow view of the school cruise ship Seawise University (1940) capsized on her starboard side in Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong. She was the former Cunard passenger liner Queen Elizabeth (1940) which was being refitted for service as a schools cruise ship when she caught fire on 9 January 1972, capsized on the 10th and continued burning until 13 January. The photographer is on board a Royal Navy Ton class patrol vessel and her port derrick is on the left of the picture.
