On board the sail training brig Royalist (1971) under sail during a training cruise off the Isle of Wight in the last quarter of 1973. The photographer is on the centreline abaft the foot of the mainmast looking up at two crew members standing on footropes furling the main topsail whileanother is standing on the mainyard footrope. The spanker has been furled.
