The photographer is on the island superstructure looking forward and to port showing the Westland Wessex HU.5 helicopter XS489 (VK/B) hovering above spot 3 on the flight deck. The HU.5 XT759 (VN/B) is hovering above spot 1 and men are beneath it handling the underslung load hook. Another HU.5 is parked on the starboard side of the deck ahead of the island.
