A slightly distant port quarter view, taken from wide off the stern, of the Royal Navy frigate Charybdis (1968) under way during exercise Sally Forth in the North Sea off the Firth of Forth. Her pendant number is F75, she has the First Frigate Squadron number on her funnel and the black top to her funnel shows she is the leader of the squadron. She has a VDS well cut into the stern. The photographer is on board the guided missile destroyer Bristol (1969).
