A slightly distant port near broadside view, taken from only just ahead of the beam, of the Royal Navy guided missile destroyer Kent (1961) under way during exercise Sally Forth in the North Sea off the Firth of Forth. Her pendant number is D12. The frigate Gurkha (1960), pendant F122, is on the left and she is half-leader of the 7th Frigate Squadron. The photographer is on board the guided missile destroyer Bristol (1969).
