A port side view, taken from well ahead of the beam, of the Indian Navy light cruiser Delhi (1932) alongside a quay in Bombay Dockyard. Her pendant number is C74, she has light scaffolding around both tripod masts and awnings are rigged. Her stern is obscured by the Indian Navy fleet tug Gaj (1972) which is alongside her. The pendant number of the tug is A51 and she is also seen with awnings rigged. In the right background is the light cruiser Mysore (1939). The photographer is in a motor launch in the harbour.
