On board an unidentified Royal Navy Type 42 destroyer under way at sea, possibly in the Mediterranean. The photographer is on the port side of 02 deck abaft the bridge wing looking aft and to port showing the port side SCOT dome (Skynet satellite communication aerial). Three men are standing on the deck below the Scot dome watching a Soviet Navy Kamov Ka-25 Hormone helicopter which is flying low over the water in the distance.
