A distant port side view of the ships anchored in line G for the Silver Jubilee Review of the Fleet at Spithead.
A distant port side view, taken from abaft the beam, of the ships anchored in Line G for the Queen's Silver Jubilee Review of the Fleet at Spithead. The ships are the Dutch frigate Tromp (1973), the New Zealand frigate Canterbury (1970), the Norwegian frigate Narvik (1965) and the British flagged general cargo coaster Fred Everard (1972). They are all dressed overall and have their crews manning the sides. The photographer is on board the Royal Fleet Auxiliary helicopter support ship Engadine (1966) looking west showing the royal Navy destroyer Birmingham (1973) following astern of the Royal Yacht Britannia (1953) as she steams between the lines.
