A group photograph of His Royal Highness, Albert Prince of Wales and officers on board HMS Serapis after his voyage to India and back to Portsmouth. The photograph was taken on the starboard side of the upper deck just in front of the saloon between the main and mizzen masts. The photograph is stamped 'Symonds & Co, Copyright, Portsmouth'.

The group, according to Captain Bedford's caption is as follows:
