Part of the harbour on the north coast of Capri, Italy.

Part of the harbour on the north coast of Capri, Italy. The photographer is looking east-by-north from the foreshore in the harbour showing rowing boats drawn up on the foreshore in the foreground. Two of the boats are numbered 635 and 539. A single masted gaff rigged cutter with a topmast is berthed at the end of a short stone pier. She is possibly registered at Sorrento. On the pier are sacks of produce and fishing nets drying. Monte Tiberio is in the background with the island of Sorrento beyond it. A vertical format negative.
