The fishing harbour at Christiansand, Norway, looking north-east and showing the steeple of Christiansand Cathedral. Two passenger steamers are alongside Pier 5 with Herlof Andersen Kul & Koks sign on the building. Pier 6 is Kristiansands Fiskeauktion. Other buildings fronting the harbour are Mathiessens Banamodneri A.S., the Fiskebasaren and Arne Johnsen Eske Fiskexport with two fishing vessels alongside, both with the letters MD on them and the outboard vessel is MD495.
