The piers at Cristobal, Colon, Panama

On board a passenger cruise ship approaching the finger piers at Cristobal, Colon, Panama. The photographer is looking forward from abaft the port bridge wing between the wheelhouse and the side cab as the ship manoeuvres to berth on the east side of Pier 1. An Hamburg-Amerika passenger/cargo liner, possibly the Orinoco (1928), is berthed on the west side of Pier 2.
