The harbour and the pulp and paper mill at Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada
The harbour, landing stage and pulp and paper mill at Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada. The photographer is looking west across the harbour from high ground showing the passenger/cargo coastal liner New Northland (1926), seen from off her port bow, alongside the landing stage. Beyond her are the extensive buildings of the Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Mill with a cargo ship alongside their wharf. This ship is possibly the Corner Brook (1925), which was built by Armstrong, Whitworth & Co at Newcastle for the Newfoundland Power & Paper Co Ltd.
