The Queen Emma pontoon swing bridge and the Otrabanda district of Willemstad, Curacao. The photographer is on board a passenger cruise ship in Santa Anna Bay passing through the open bridge and he is looking north-by-west. The pontoon bridge is swung back towards the Otrabanda side of the bay and two merchant ships are berthed on the Koninklijke Nederlandsche Stoomboot Maatschappij Compania Real Hollandsch De Vapores wharf in the right background with a 3-masted schooner ahead of them. Another merchant ship is berthed on the east side of the bay. On the left is the Restaurant Tivoli and two oil tanks are on the skyline.
