Tilbury RB III (1937) moored in a river driving a pile into the riverbed.

A starboard bow view of the rock breaking pontoon Tilbury RB III (1937) moored in a river (not the Thames) driving a pile into the riverbed. The black balls at the top of the sheerlegs indicates that it is anchored (one black ball) and not under command (one black ball above another). The starboard quarter of an unknown tug is seen in the foreground, with lines attached to a dredger out of the picture (except for the dredger grapple). A man stands in the stern of a clinker built wooden work boat sculling over the stern. A bridge is in the background with an industrial coastline.
