The North Beach of Anzac Cove, north of Gaba Tepe, on the Gallipoli peninsula. The photographer is looking north along the coast from above Hell Spit. On 25 April 1915 four Australian and one New Zealand Infantry Brigades and one Indian Mountain Artillery Brigade landed at Anzac Cove north and south of Hell Spit.
