The crew at lifeboat stations on the boat deck on board the Orient Line cruise ship Oronsay (1925). The photographer is looking aft from the starboard bridge wing showing lifeboat number 3 swung out, the double banked lifeboats 5 and 5A and 7 and 7A are still housed while the boats 9 and 11 further aft have been swung out in their davits. The boat's crews, wearing lifejackets, are lined up on the boat deck alongside their respective boats. Awning bars have been rigged over the boat deck.
