The Riva and the eastern part of the old town at Hvar, Croatia. The photographer is looking east-north-east from an Orient Line passenger cruise ship's boat which is leaving the harbour. The pineapple palm lined Riva is on the left with another of the cruise ship's boats alongside the south end of it and fronting the harbour is the Hotel Novacic. The Setaliste put Kriza promenade is in the centre and right of the picture. A third Orient Line cruise ship's boat is on the right heading for the shore.
