London Bridge

Drawing by an anonymous asylum seeker artist working with the New Art Studio of the area around London Bridge. The drawing is claustrophobic, with tightly packed, menacing buildings and an ominous sky, representing the sense of dread that this area of London has for asylum seekers, who are required to sign at a Home Office building in this area every fortnight. Asylum seekers can be held and taken to detention centres from this central London office when they go to sign there.
