Cutty Sark came to Greenwich on 10 December 1954.

To celebrate 70 years since the ship arrived, we are planning a new exhibit exploring how Cutty Sark came to Greenwich.

We would love to feature people's memories of the ship – both old and new – as part of the display.

Have you visited Cutty Sark before? Do you have memories which you would be happy to share? What do you remember?

Use the form below to share your recollections with us.

How your messages will be used

Later this year we plan to open a small display in the Dry Dock space at Cutty Sark (pictured). As part of the display, we will feature a number of visitor memories of the ship. Please don’t be disappointed if yours is not selected – we have a small space and can only include a limited number but we truly appreciate all your contributions.

Should your memory be selected, we would like to include your first name and location alongside it. Please tell us if you would prefer for us not to include this information.

The display will run for 12 months and all information and contact details will be deleted after that time. Should we wish to use your memory for longer or elsewhere, we will be in touch to seek further permission.
