The north arm of the Bay of Kotor, Yugoslavia. The photographer is looking west-north-west from on board a passenger cruise ship at the top of the north-eastern arm of the bay showing the village of Perast at the foot of the mountain slope on the right. In the central narrows just beyond the low promontory on the left the man-made island of Our Lady of the Rocks can be seen. The waterfront houses of Donji Stoliv are on the left. Two small rowing boats are crossing the bay.
