The Swedish passenger cruise ship Kungsholm (1928) and the German Monte Rosa (1930) in the anchorage at Funchal, Madeira.
A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from just ahead of the beam, of the Swedish passenger cruise ship Kungsholm (1928) in the anchorage at Funchal, Madeira. The ship is dressed overall, she has her forward accommodation ladder deployed and a number of bumboats are gathered near her stern. Beyond her is the German passenger cruise ship Monte Rosa (1930). The photographer is on the shore looking seaward and in the foreground are a number of local passenger tenders, a pilot launch, an esperada fishing boat and the harbour workboat Victoria (fl. 1930).
