The photographer is looking east from the west end of the harbour showing an espada fishing boat, motor passenger launches, the steam workboat Victoria (fl. 1930) and a 3-masted schooner at moorings with the Mohle fort at the end of the breakwater on the right. In the background are a cargo vessel and the Canadian Pacific Steamships passenger cruise ship Duchess of Richmond (1928). The latter is seen from off her starboard quarter and has bumboats near her stern. A vertical format negative.
