A close view of the stern of the Orient Line cruise ship Orion (1935) at anchor in Greek waters, taken from very fine off the port side. Accommodation ladders are rigged to the main deck aft on both side of the ship and lifeboats 14, 18 and 19 have been launched. One of the ship's motor boats is in the right foreground and two manual lifeboats are lying alongside each other near the port accommodation ladder on the left. The ship is lightly laden and is floating 8 feet below the normal waterline according to the draught marks. Negatives numbers P84339 to P84346, P84496 and P84498 were taken on the same occasion.
